Twist of the Month Debut

The yarn we process is used in a multitude of ways for a magnitude of products from the obvious fashion garments such as suits and knitwear apparel through to crafting products, industrial floor matting, bus, train and plane upholstery to household upholstery, swing tickets and candle wicks.

We see a lot of variety pass through our mill. One day the machines are running the latest colour trends in cashmeres or alpaca yarn for knitwear, the next day the factory might be full of cotton ecru yarn which is being processed for a rope manufacturer. One product might be high twist, the next needs to be loose and open twist, one product might be a marl, the next a solid shade.

It’s great to see such variety.

That’s why we have decided to launch a new feature called ‘Twist of the month’. On a regular basis we will aim to share our favourite or most unusual twist that we’ve processed. We’ll share the before and after pictures and a bit of commentary.

Our current twist is a beautiful, warm pink, it’s nice to see this in our mill on these miserable misty winter mornings!
